Between 8-12 years old, I was heavily into martial arts. Then I switched gears and got into bodybuilding from 15-20 years old. As they say, ‘things happen for a reason. When I went to college to major in Exercise Science, my dream was to run my own gym. I was also a personal trainer. I literally lived my life in the gym and started to get burned out a little from the gym life.

I was doing heavy squats one day, going for a personal record when I hurt my back. A friend of mine recommended chiropractic. Being the reader that I was, I read everything available on chiropractic and its philosophy, and I was hooked even before getting treated.

The philosophy of inside-out healing really resonated with my own beliefs and values. One philosophy book I was also reading is called Psycho-Cybernetics. In the book, there is a quote by a doctor stating, “The doctor dresses the wound; God heals it.” When I read that quote, it was consistent with chiropractic philosophy.

I decided then and there that chiropractic was what I wanted to do with my life. The same chiropractor that treated me for my low back pain also employed me for two years.

I attended David Lipscomb University from 1999 to 2003. I majored in Exercise Science and minored in Nutrition. After graduation, I attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO, and graduated in 2007.

My wife is an exceptional Doctor of Chiropractic. I have been around many chiropractors and have also been the patient of many, so I know how they treat a patient. There is no one like her, trust me. There are some chiropractors that come along, and after they know the basics of how the body works, they put it together in a system and invent their own technique or way of doing things. I would put her in this category. She is different in that she has her own style. She also prides herself on doing a great examination where every piece of the puzzle is turned over. She loves seeing pregnant women and kids – from day one up through the teen years.

We are blessed with two beautiful girls. We have been adjusting our kids to chiropractic care since the day they were born. It is our philosophy that children benefit the most from chiropractic care. It allows them to grow up with a straight spine and allows their nervous system to work optimally. We believe what made us, the innate intelligence within, heals us and allows us to reach our true health potential. This is most prevalent in children because they heal faster, and tissues can be truly prevented. I love being able to treat kids with chiropractic care and see the many benefits it brings.

We have two offices for your convenience: Spring Hill and Franklin, Tennessee.

We want our patients and our community to know that chiropractic care works with the body to help heal it naturally without drugs or surgery. Our body, or more so what lies in the body, is intelligent. This intelligence must be expressed fully through the nervous system, with proper movement in the bones of the spine, to help it heal.
